Drawing on over 24 years of experience, Amber built Fika by bringing together a team of talented stylists who share a passion for growth and a genuine desire to elevate the beauty industry—starting with how stylists feel in their environment, how people feel in the chair and how everyone feels in the space around them.
Fika was created with a simple belief: beauty should feel good from every angle.
We specialize in highly customized hair cuts and skillfully crafted hair color designed to grow with you, not compete with your life. Beyond the hair, we focus on the experience as a whole: a calm, intentional space, a supportive and inspired team, and an atmosphere where clients feel comfortable the moment they walk in.
When stylists enjoy what they do and clients feel at ease, the result is more than a good hair day. It’s beauty that feels natural, personal, and lasting.

Every abstract I create begins with a story personal to me. The Fika painting is a love story to my daughter, Amber Rodgers. It is my interpretation of her journey to becoming the woman she is today, multi-layered, lyrical, bold, tender and glittered with gold. Some layers have receded into the “Spirit World” only to be seen by those taking the time to look closely. This story is lovingly shared by mother and daughter.

Design by Oldani & Santiago
When deciding to start Fika Salon, Amber Rodgers entrusted Luigi Oldani and Brooklyn Santiago with the salon’s design.
With a friendship dating back to 1999—when Rodgers and Santiago were cosmetology students—and an appreciation for Oldani’s previous fabrication work, the partnership felt natural from the start. With Rodgers' trust and willingness to foster the designers' creative freedom, Oldani & Santiago were able to explore their ideas and develop their working partnership on this inaugural project. Seeded with Rodgers' input, the space would be highly personal and reflective of her aesthetic while also serving as a breakout expression of the design duo’s talents. The result was a seamless blend of collaboration, trust, and artistry—establishing both the beginning of Oldani & Santiago Design and Fika Salon.
Luigi’s path as a creator began at a young age when he would accompany his father—himself an artist—on construction sites. He grew up watching raw materials transform into spaces and art pieces through the hands of craftspeople and artists. His expertise in natural materials, his enthusiasm for expression through craft, and his reverence for an artist’s ability to evoke emotion through medium are the driving forces behind his work. He loves working with Santiago—her complementary skills, her intuition—she is his best possible collaborator. Their relationship and love connection provoke deeper, more meaningful work.
With a 26-year career in the beauty industry and a passion for design, Brooklyn has honed an expert ability to intimately connect with clients on their aesthetics—both physically and environmentally. Her innate sense of space, experience with color and her ability to decode the elements that give a person or environment that je ne sais quoi balance and provide context for Luigi’s technical prowess.
